Charcoal on A2. 2015.

I take a multidisciplinary approach to art, as I believe that art is an important tool to form communities and strengthen existing ones, by allowing them to react, express and investigate issues in a creative way.

Thus, I have spent the last 5 years engaging with different communities through different mediums and art forms, such as theatre and visual arts.

The context from which I create art arises from political tension, from spaces where people, for several reasons, have limited freedom of expression around certain topics.

As a Politics university student in 2013, I quickly realized that the best way to express ideas and perceptions around social issues was through the art forms. I then began scripting and staging plays, and participating in visual art exhibitions.

Currently, I'm excited about making feminist zines, exploring the possibilities of digital art, and creating cross-border collaborations.
